Claire Harris, President

 Claire Harris brings a wealth of expertise and experience to her role as President of Clean Energy Connections Inc. With a recognized career spanning over 30 years at New Brunswick Power, Claire has been a driving force behind numerous innovative initiatives, including management system development and the advancement of Small Modular Reactors in Canada. Claire holds a diploma in Power Engineering Technology and a Bachelor's Degree, specializing in Environmental Assessment. Her commitment to continuous improvement is underscored by her certification as a Coach and Lean Sigma Process Improvement Facilitator.  Claire is an unwavering advocate for climate change action, nuclear safety culture, performance improvement, and Indigenous inclusion. Claire firmly believes in the power of collective voices and emphasizes that, together, we can pave the way for a transformative impact on future generations.  

Hannah Hackett, Program Manager

 Hannah Hackett  holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Western University. Hannah's experience as an educational instructor in remote Indigenous communities led her to managing and shaping Indigenous Academic Support programs with Elephant Thoughts. In her role, she has spearheaded initiatives to boost graduation rates, bridge the post-COVID academic gap, and enhance STEM learning opportunities for Indigenous youth in northern Quebec, Eeyou Istchee. Her work includes coordinating staff logistics, adapting program components to meet unique community needs, and delivering engaging training sessions that integrate global leadership and cultural sensitivity to her teams. Known for her organizational prowess, versatile communication, and kind demeanor, Hannah excels in fostering impactful experiences.
